Thera is an organisation directly controlled by people with a learning disability.

Thera employs people with a learning disability as paid Executive Directors on the Board of each Thera company. They help make decisions about how the companies are run.

People with a learning disability can be members of the Thera company which supports them. They can decide the rules of their Thera company. They can have a say in who the Directors of each Thera company are. They can come to General Meetings of their Thera company.

The Quality Company is the only company in the Thera Group which has shareholders. People with a learning disability can be employees and shareholders of The Quality Company. The majority of Directors of The Quality Company are people with a learning disability.
