How we support people
Thera can support people with a learning disability in a number of different ways. You will be able to design your own support based on your needs, wants and wishes.
Whether you need 24-hour support at home or just a few hours in your local community, Thera can offer flexible support that suits you.
Here are some examples of how we could support you.
- Support at home (also known as supported living)
- Flexible community support (including sleep-ins)
- Support to go on a short break (also known as respite)
- Support to go to work or college
- Help to manage your money or personal budget
- Help to recruit a personal assistant
- Help to move on from school
- Support during times of family trouble
