Regulation and reporting

Reporting to individuals and commissioners

Thera has a comprehensive set of processes to provide informationmanagement information and reporting.

Aspects of this information, as appropriate (for example annual and quarterly reports in line with contractual qualityrequirements) are made available to individuals and purchasers, to provide an external check on the quality of the organisations services.

Thera companies actively support individuals to grant access to commissioners and other external agencies as talkappropriate, to their homes to talk about their support to ensure delivery of the contract to the standards required.

Our regulators

charityThera Trust is regulated by the Charity Commission.

Each Thera company that provides direct care and support is registered with the Care Quality Commission in England and the Care Inspectorate in Scotland - for the provision of domiciliary care/support at home. 

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator for England and Wales. They inspect all health and social care providers to make sure they are meeting the fundamental standards of care.

The Care Inspectorate is responsible for inspecting Scottish health and social care providers to make sure they are meeting the National Care Standards.

Each Thera Company is inspected individually to check that they meet the required standards.

We are also regulated by the Health and Safety Executive.
