Social events

To allow the Equal Futures community to come together on a regular basis, we host social events for focus people, their families and our volunteers. Families who do not require a Circle or befriender can attend these events, and therefore still access a form of support through Equal Futures.

Our monthly social events are an opportunity for our focus people (aged 16-35) to make social connections, try new hobbies and build social confidence in a safe and fun space.

Every social event will have an activity or taster session. For example, the activity may be martial arts, computing, mindfulness, or Zumba. For focus people who are looking for a befriender, the social events are a great chance to meet our volunteers and find a natural befriending match.
