How do I get the £500 low-income self-isolation payments recently mentioned by the Government?
We are aware of the recent announcement and are awaiting guidance to be published, which is expected to be released on 12th October. Once reviewed we will advise any staff member who meets the criteria how to apply.
I am pregnant, can I attend work?
We are constantly working to Public Health guidance around staff members who are pregnant and would need to understand your working area and individual circumstances to be able to confirm. Please contact your manager to arrange a meeting and risk assessment to confirm options available to you.
My child has been sent home from school to isolate due to a class member experiencing symptoms/ receiving a positive test – can I get paid?
It’s hard to be able to give one answer to this question as it will be based on individual circumstances and what has been agreed with your manager and/or HR department regarding the time you are absent. Please speak with your manager in the first instance who will be able to confirm the options available to you based on our current processes for COVID19 absence
What will happen with my annual leave?
As per standard practice you should try to ensure all entitlement is booked and taken within your leave year.
However, we appreciate in the current climate this is not always possible. If you have untaken leave as a result of COVID-19, such as cancelled holidays or are unable to book holidays due to staffing shortages please speak to your manager in the first instance.
To carry this forward untaken leave into a future leave year your manager will need to submit a manager request – balance adjustment and the pay team will add the untaken leave to your new leave year. If the carryover is greater than 2 weeks leave, this will be forwarded to the Managing Director (or equivalent) within your organisation for approval.
I’m off work due to COVID-19, how will this impact my pay?
It’s hard to be able to give one answer to this question as it will be based on individual circumstances and what has been agreed with your manager and/or HR department regarding the time you are absent.
For further details specific to you please email email@example.com and a member of the team will be able to confirm based on your individual circumstances and what option(s) have been agreed with your manager.
If I have to quarantine based on government guidance, will I get paid?
Please contact your manager or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your circumstances
