Jobs and volunteering opportunities

During this period of unprecedented challenge due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are reaching out to individuals who may be currently out of work due to temporary closures in their chosen career.

We recognise that everyone has valuable skills that may have been developed in a range of alternate careers and backgrounds which can be transferred, such as good communication and organisation skills.

Other people will have hobbies and interests in art, music, exercise, cooking etc. or simply have a naturally caring nature and enjoy bringing fun and laughter to someone’s life.

Most importantly, you will have a belief in people and a passion for helping them achieve their goals and personal values based on respect.

What opportunities are available?

We are looking for:

Paid support staff

Support Workers enable people with a learning disability to work, learn, live and manage their day to day lives.

Good Neighbours

Being a Good Neighbour enables you to make a different without having face to face contact with people, for example doing someone’s shopping, gardening, or walking their dog.

Having recognised what transferrable skills you have, don’t worry, we then offer full support and training for any of the knowledge, skills and experience you will need to feel confident in your role with us. We will fund the cost of DBS checks as required.
