With summer around the corner we’re all keen to get the house de-cluttered for those inevitable barbeques and late evenings in the garden. But what about those games, books, and unwanted gifts that are just too good to throw away? Sell them and support our work instead!
Second hand selling is a great way to de-clutter your home, give your preloved knick-knacks a new lease of life, and save perfectly good things from going to land-fill. It also means you don’t have to wait in line at the smelly refuse centre!
On 3rd to 9th May, we’ll be selling to support Thera Trust. Join us to rehome all those bits and bobs that have been collecting dust and spring clean for Thera!
Did you know… you can donate a percentage of your profits to your chosen charity with eBay’s charity listings?
Thera Trust are now listed as a charity on eBay! What better way to rehome your old stuff than to support people with a learning disability at the same time!
Why spring clean for Thera?
We’re doing this to support people with a learning disability to have the opportunity for a family, a career, hobbies, and a home – just like everyone else. Day to day support is great for just that… day to day.
Thera Trust offers opportunities beyond the day to day, supporting people with a learning disability to pursue their goals and long term plans, whether that be living in a home of their choosing, getting that dream job they’ve always wanted to do, or going to gigs with their mates.
Your home is your castle, and the items in your home are what make you, you. You might be selling some games your family don’t play with any more, stationery you bought but never use for work, bird watching books from an old hobby, or maybe there’s some knick-knacks that would be loved more on someone else’s shelf.
With your support, those unwanted items can play a part in offering people with a learning disability opportunities to be who they want to be, and to live the life they choose.
