Partners

Gig Buddies with Thera couldn't work without the support of our partners. These Supporters have made a real positive impact into the lives of people with a learning disability. Click on the link below to find out more about each.

National Lottery Community Fund

The National Lottery Community Fund enabled us to launch Gig Buddies Glasgow. The cities response to having its own local project blew us away. In 2019 we launched to a brilliant member base, fantastic volunteer interest, and a host of venues asking to work with us!

Foundation Scotland

Foundation Scotland’s Response Fund enabled up to increase our online activities in the second lockdown. We were able to host social events, and run workshops that gave members the tools to host their own events and developed materials such as video content to accompany these workshops. This funding also enabled us to print more physical materials to keep our members up to date with current C-19 guidelines and how they effected Gig Buddies.

West Lothian Council

West Lothian Council enables us to roll out or Gig Buddies project in West Lothian. Although it’s a much more rural area than Edinburgh and Glasgow, the local community has rallied around the project, making it just as varied and vibrant as our other projects.
