Thera Trust supports people with learning disabilities across England, Scotland and Wales. Whether it's in your own home, in your community or during a short break, our person first support promotes real choice and independence. All to further our vision of an inclusive society where people with learning disabilities can live and lead great lives. We also offer support in finding a home, finding employment, volunteering or training opportunities, having the social life you want and managing your money through financial advocacy.

Gig Buddies with Thera Trust Presents the Edinburgh Festival ‘Bestie’ Award for Accessibility!

Back in 2024 Thera Trust were honoured to be presented with the Edinburgh Festival ‘Bestie’ award for Accessibility for the work of our Gig Buddies project, enabling people with learning disabilities to access the Edinburgh Festivals, and ensuring that venues and community spaces across the city are confident to welcome neurodivergent audiences to their events.

Building community connections and relationships at Aspire Growing

Through building community connections, the team at Aspire Growing have built a strong relationship with members of their local community and are now providing chilli jam regularly to a local, independent café.
