Thera Trust supports people with learning disabilities across England, Scotland and Wales. Whether it in your own home, in your community or during a short break, our person first support promotes real choice and independence. All to further our vision of an inclusive society where people with learning disabilities can live and lead great lives. We also offer support in finding a home, finding employment, volunteering or training opportunities, having the social life you want and managing your money through financial advocacy.

“I’m in my 60s and I’m going to more gigs than ever!” – Don on 10 years of Gig Buddies

Throughout 2026 we’re celebrating 10 years of Gig Buddies with Thera Trust. In 2016, our project started in Edinburgh before developing across Scotland and impacting over 200 people, enabling adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults to live active social lives, develop their confidence, and get out to more gigs.
