Adult Learning Courses in Greenwich

Over the next few months, Unity Works are running Adult Community Learning courses for people with a learning disability living in Greenwich

Do you have learning disability and are you interested in learning how to develop your job seeking skills? Over the next few months, we are running the following free courses at the Eltham Centre in Royal Borough of Greenwich:

 

Employability Workshop:

This workshop will cover an introduction to employability, and discuss common worries people can have when thinking about work, and what we can do about this. Thursday 9th February, 11am-1pm, at the Eltham Centre

 

Work in Progress:

This workshop will look at what people have done on their job search and career journeys so for, and reflect on the progress they have made. Thursday 16th February, 11am-1pm, at the Eltham Centre

 

Am I Ready to Work?

A six-week course where learners will:

  • Understand the benefits of working and why people choose to work
  • Build up understanding of personal and professional skills needed for employment
  • Learn what steps are needed for next steps on an employment pathway
  • Build independent living skills

Six week course starting week commencing 20th February, at the Eltham Centre.
