Millie’s journey has not always been the easiest, and in the past she has struggled with confidence. Her support team have worked diligently with her to identify opportunities for her to find purpose, passion, and allow her to shine.
Millie has always had a passion for helping others, and with the help of her team she was able to find an opportunity at her local village hall. Every Thursday, Millie plays an important role in a community initiative that provides hot meals and support to homeless people in the area.
Despite the challenges she has faced in the past, Millie is thriving in her new role. She greets visitors, helps to prepare and serve food, and has made a remarkable impression on the people she interacts with. The volunteer coordinator at the village hall goes into greater detail:

This voluntary position has not only allowed Millie to build confidence and gain valuable life skills, but also shown others what inclusion and community truly mean. Her staff team have noticed an incredible transformation in Millie since she has begun volunteering:
