Thera East Midlands has a board of directors made up of paid executive directors and voluntary non- executive directors
We are looking for a voluntary non-executive director with lived experience of learning disability to be part of our board.
- You will check that the paid directors (executive directors) are doing a good job.
- You will use your lived experience of learning disability to help make sure the board talk about the right issues.
- You will help set our plans and goals for the future. You will check that people we support are at the centre of those plans.
- You will help the board make good decisions and run our company well.
We will help you learn to be a director and build your confidence and experience in a director role.
