At Thera, we believe people with a learning disability can be leaders in society. This knowledge runs at our very core, as well as the desire to give the best quality of support we can provide. This is why we have our Service Quality Directors.
Service Quality Directors visit the people that we support in their Thera Company. They do this to get to know them personally and see if they are getting what they need from their support. They check over their Person-centred support plan and their Iplanit plan.
They also have a say in how to run the company, always keeping Thera on the right path. Their knowledge comes from their lived experience. This guarantees that any choices made by the company are in the best interests of the people we support.
Our Service Quality Directors are proud of their disability and the skills they use in the role. They bring great listening and communication skills. They enjoy leadership and have a drive towards teamworking.
