An update from Thera (Scotland)!

Posted 17/06/2020

Suzanne, Managing Director and Jordan Allan, Service Quality Director for Thera (Scotland) update on how Thera (Scotland) has continued to support people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are nearly 3 months into lockdown and Thera (Scotland) staff and people we support have done a fantastic job and we are very proud of them. Our staff and people we support are all safe and well, everyone is happy, and everyone is following the latest guidelines to keep staff and the people we support safe.

Our Service Quality Director, Jordan Allan, started in May and has been checking in with the people we support that they are happy and coping well under lockdown. He has more virtual calls planned over the next few weeks and months.

Our board of directors said a big thank you to the staff for all their hard work during lockdown which went out on our social media.

Staff, board members and people we support are taking part in our fundraiser, walking as many steps as we can throughout the month of June which everyone is enjoying being a part of.

We regularly check in with staff checking that they and the people we support are safe and well. We also send out links of different resources to help staff if they are struggling.

Finally, we would like to thank all key workers for everything they have done and are continuing to do in Scotland.

Thank you!

Suzanne Abbate Managing Director and Jordan Allan Service Quality Director.
