Fun team-building activities were the highlight of Thera East’s (TE) annual staff awards day.
The event, held at Essex Outdoors Mersea in September (2018), saw teams work together to complete a range of activities including zip wire, archery, high ropes, rock climbing and arts and crafts.
Benita Bull, Operational Manager for TE, said: “The celebration event was a great success. Just watching everyone interact and participate in activities that they had never done before was an absolute joy. The rain did not spoil any part of the day, as everyone had come with the right attitude to have fun.”
Over 200 people including staff and people we support attended the event. In the afternoon, everyone came together, in a large marquee, to celebrate the fantastic work TE staff have achieved over the past year. During the awards ceremony nine individuals and two full teams were recognised through six different categories.
Brenda McLoughlin, Managing Director for TE, said: “The event was an outstanding success, despite the wet weather in the morning. Everyone enjoyed the variety of food available and we held a disco to end the amazing day.”
