Last week Thera East held their Christmas Card Competition and were absolutely flooded with entries!
Members of the Thera East Board had the job of choosing a winner and 2nd and 3rd place. With such a colourful and creative array of designs it was certainly a very hard decision!
In third place was Mary with her creative ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ design. We especially love Mary’s use of different shapes and stickers – well done!
In second place was Mark with his Christmas tree design! Mark used his handprint to create the Christmas tree shape and then decorated this with an array of stars and vivid colours – beautiful work!
In first place was Sean with his incredible winter wonderland card! We were so impressed by Sean’s crafting skills and use of different materials. We can’t think of a better festive scene!
Our top 3 have received a little prize and certificate and all our entries will receive a certificate also! The competition is on for next year!
Elsewhere at Thera East, plenty of Christmas elves have been busy getting themselves Christmas – ready!
Some of the people we support in Colchester were supported to make this beautiful wreath, which is now proudly hanging on their front door!
Other members of our lovely staff and the people we support have been busy decorating their Christmas tree ready for Santa’s arrival!
