England moves to Step 2 on COVID-19 Roadmap

More lockdown restrictions have eased in England.

Today (Monday 12 April) the whole of England moved into Step 2 of the Roadmap out of lockdown, with some of the restrictions being eased.

  • All retail and shops have reopened
  • Hairdressers, barbers and personal care services have reopened
  • Gyms and indoor leisure centres are open
  • You still cannot meet indoors with people who you do not live or are in a support bubble with

If the Government and scientists agree then England is due to move to Step 3 on Monday 17 May.
