On 14 February our Group Lead Directors for Quality and Involvement, Andrew Bright and Sara Danby, presented a workshop on Leadership and Governance at the Learning Disability England Conference in London.
Their exciting workshop included topics such as:
- Their Equal Leadership roles
- What is meant by Leadership?
- Leadership at Thera
- Leadership and Bemix
- Developing Leaders of the Future
- What can we do now to create more opportunities for leaders of the future?
They delivered their workshop alongside Bemix.
The feedback from the workshop was very positive and the attendees really enjoyed it too.
Reflecting on the workshop Andrew and Sara said:
We were amazed to have such a well attended workshop. It was reassuring to see so many people want to know more about Leadership and Governance by people with a lived experience of learning disability. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing how we do this at Thera alongside Bemix in an interactive way.
