New Coronavirus Guidance For Scotland

The Government has announced there will now be different rules for Scotland on Christmas Day, 25 December.

In Scotland, the Government has announced a change in guidance, following a rise in the number of infections.

On Christmas Day you can:

  • Meet with a maximum of 8 people from three households
  • Meet with your bubble in a home, outdoors or in a place of worship
  • People from the rest of the UK are not to travel into or out of Scotland

From Boxing Day, 26th December:

  • There will be Level 4 measures for mainland Scotland for three weeks. Other communities will move to Tier 3.
  • Travel across local authority boundaries between areas in Level 3 or 4 will not be legal other than for specific exempt purposes
