Thera East Midlands celebrated the successes of its staff team with an awards event on Thursday 12 September at Arena UK in Allington.

The Quality Company was founded in July 2007, offering Quality Checks to people with a learning disability, supported by the Thera Group.

We are delighted to welcome Suzanne Abbate, who has joined the Thera (Scotland) senior management team as Managing Director.

Andrew Bright, Head of Development at Thera Trust and Service Quality Director for Thera North, was announced as one of the most influential people with a disability in the UK at a reception at the House of Lords yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 8 October).

Aspire welcomed over 100 people to its community hub for a workforce development day, which aimed to share good practice and encourage people to make a pledge to STOMP.

Thera East Anglia is delighted to announce that they have received funding through the Cambridgeshire County Council Innovate and Cultivate fund. The money will enable the My Way project to support more people with a learning disability into employment.

Thera East’s annual celebration took place on Wednesday 28 August at Essex Outdoors, Mersea.
