On the 15 November, Thera North held their virtual MASKerade Awards to celebrate their staff and people supported! In what has been an unusual year, Thera North recognised the contribution of those who have been ‘COVID heroes’. Everyone came dressed in their Christmas finery and enjoyed a presentation over Zoom.
There were nine categories in which people could be nominated:
An incredible 38 awards were presented across the nine categories, to staff members as well as people supported. Well done everyone!
Managing Director, Craig Sutherland, is especially proud of how Thera North has handled an unusual year:
“Throughout the year I have heard so many stories of how activities have been changed so that it can done in someone’s home. At the beginning of December, I finally had the pleasure to come and visit many of the people we support (socially distanced of course!). At every single one of our visits, it was so clear that the people we support were happy. This is all down to the passion and attention that you and your teams have put into making sure that life can carry on as close to normal as possible.”
Well done to everyone involved in the MASKerade awards! There have been some fabulous achievements this year and we know these will continue into 2021.
