Unity Works is a specialist organisation providing support to people with a learning disability across London to gain skills, qualifications and jobs.
Due to the extraordinary circumstances of COVID-19, we have taken the decision to temporarily close our social enterprises and stop our face to face employment, training and health and wellbeing programmes. All our social enterprises provide vital income to support our charitable aims of supporting people with a learning disability to gain skills, qualifications and jobs. Taking the temporary measure to close them has of course impacted both our income and the people we support as we cannot trade or offer face to face services during this period
Despite this, we’ve continuing to support people via alternative online methods to ensure they continue to receive the support and training and reduce hardship and loneliness during this period. We need your help to continue providing people across our programmes with this much needed support.
How your donation will make a difference.
The funds raised will be used across Unity Works, including:
- Ensuring our learners and job seekers can access our online programmes and keep learning and developing skills.
- Ensuring our learners and job seekers are not negatively affected by the impact of social isolation during this period.
- Supporting our social enterprises to ensure they can reopen once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
