Jane Feierabend

Sam Holman

Service Quality Director

Sam has been Service Quality Director for almost 2 years, having served as a Non Executive Director on the Thera South West board for 2 years before that. His role is to make sure that Thera South West provides good quality support to people, using his own experience of having a learning disability. Sam has also worked with Devon People First who are a speaking-up advocacy group.

Janie Cook

Executive Assistant

Janie Cook joined Thera South West in November 2014 as a community support leader. In her role Janie is responsible for Tiverton and North Devon area, supporting people in their own homes and out in the community, she supports them to live their lives independently and make their own choices. Her role has recently changed to Executive assistant to Sam Holman, Service quality director for Thera South West. Janie really enjoys her role within Thera and loves our vision.

Annie Leinster

Operational Manager

Annie has had many years’ experience (since 1989) in the Health and Social Care field (Learning disability) in a variety of different settings, including local authority, not for profit and charitable organisations, progressing her career through the different job roles. Annie's passion is to ensure that people with learning disability not only have a voice but that we listen to it and take action to ensure their views are heard. She has a particular interest in Autism and has also gained extensive knowledge surrounding peoples medication and health and wellbeing. Annie has been an Operational Manager with Thera South West since Feb 2014 to which she is able to contribute her knowledge and experience as well as learning new skills along the way. Most importantly, Annie is able to work with the people we support to ensure they are receiving great quality support in a way of their choosing.

Amy-Louise Smith

Operational Manager

Amy previously worked for the Dorset County Council as a duty manager from 2006 to 2014 where she undertook the Level 5 Diploma within leadership and management working with adults with a learning disability. Amy commenced her journey with Thera South West in 2014 and is the registered Operational Manager for the Wiltshire area and strives to deliver person centred supported living. When Amy commenced her journey as a Support Worker she knew this was the path for her and her passion for supporting people with a learning disability grew.

Rachel Cook

Personal Assistant to Managing Director

Rachel previously worked as a Home Care Support Worker for an organisation that supported people with a range of individual needs. Now as PA to Thera South West's Managing Director, her work consists of a wide range of administrative and coordination duties. This role has a huge amount of variation which she really enjoys.

Matt Congdon

Operational Manager

Matt’s role is divided between Operational Manager in Dorset and Community Support Leader in Torquay. He has worked in the social care sector for many years and has a vast amount of experience working with PMLD, Autism and complex behavioural needs. Matt has a level 4 in Health and Social Care along with various other qualifications. He loves sport, films and enjoys spending time with his young family.
