Meet Our Staff

Meet the senior management team for our East Midlands region.

Sarah Clark

Managing Director

Sarah started her career in her early 20s, following personal experience of supporting family and friends who were diagnosed with Autism. Sarah wanted to pursue social care as a career and applied for a support worker role working specifically with young adults. Sarah’s experience spans across day opportunities, community support, residential care and supported living. Sarah is passionate about person centred support and strongly believes that a learning disability should not be a barrier to someone achieving their dreams.

Elena Frewin

Service Quality Director

Elena works alongside people supported, staff and the East Midlands Regional Advisory Board to champion people’s voices and help them make informed choices so they can live great lives, in keeping with Thera’s vision. Using her own lived experience of having a learning disability, Elena brings valuable understanding and insight to her role, helping to ensure that Thera provides high-quality, person-centred care and support.

Tasha has worked for Thera since 2014, starting out as a receptionist at Thera Trust. She then joined the East Midlands team in 2017 as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. Stacey approaches each day with a smile and a positive outlook, bringing this attitude to everything she does. She is passionate about promoting the independence of the people we support and believes strongly that everything we do should be person-centred, ensuring that each individual’s choices, needs and aspirations remain at the heart of the support we provide.
Stacey thoroughly enjoys her role and particularly values working alongside such a dedicated and committed team. Together, they strive to make a positive difference and ensure that the people they support are able to live happy, fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Paul began his career over 10 years ago, starting out as a support worker and later progressing to a line manager role. Paul is passionate about putting the people we support at the centre of everything we do, teaching life skills and promoting independence. He ensures that support is based on people’s own choices, as well as making sure that it is accessible and flexible, promoting ordinary lifestyles. Using his previous knowledge, understanding and perspective of health and social care, Paul is experienced in leading and mentoring teams to provide the very support.

Helen Broadhurst

Operational Manager

Helen has over twenty years’ experience working with adults with a learning disability, mental health issues, autistic spectrum disorders and also in residential children’s services. Helen started as a support worker and worked her way up to where she is now and still absolutely loves watching how people we support grow and progress - it’s the very best part of the job!! She moved over to Thera in November 2019 and is now part of a lovely team of people who believe in what we do.
