Thera Group is led by the charity Thera Trust and is made up of a total of 18 companies working across the UK. We support around 2000 people and around 3000 staff with an annual turnover of £60m.
We provide direct care and support to people at home and in the community and also provide short break (respite) support.
Within the group we also have a number of specialist companies, providing supported employment and training, financial advocacy, enablement of circles of support and peer quality review by people with a lived experience of learning disability.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who are interested in helping us to shape our organisation. We are looking for someone to help us succeed in our vision.
You will be an ambassador for the people we support and help us to make important decisions about the running of the organisation.
You must believe in our vision and want to make a difference with both your heart and your head. You may have a legal or business background or have experience in the public or third sector.
You may also be someone who has a learning disability and want to share your experience to develop the organisation.
Board or committee experience is desirable. Evidence of effectiveness in your chosen field or interest is essential.
