Inverness and Highland support receives ‘Very Good’ rating in latest Care Inspectorate report

Thera (Scotland)’s Inverness and Highland support has been rated ‘5’ –Very Good - across all areas in their latest Care Inspectorate quality inspection report.

Thera (Scotland)’s Inverness and Highland support has been rated ‘5’ –Very Good – across all areas in their latest Care Inspectorate quality inspection report.

The Care Inspectorate looked at how well Thera (Scotland) looks after people’s wellbeing and the quality of leadership provided. They spoke to a number of people supported, their families and their staff.

The inspector commented on the significant improvements in staff culture, how the staff have a “can do” attitude and focus on providing person-centred support.

Thera (Scotland) ensures that the health and wellbeing of supported people is their top priority.

A Social Care Professional said:

Staff work professionally to meet clients’ wishes, aspirations, abilities, disabilities and needs. They also show passion and commitment to their work.

A relative of one of the people Thera (Scotland) supports said:

My relative has a good variety of daily activities. She has grown more independent over the past period due to the increase of daily activities.

Thera (Scotland) will continue to enable the people they support to live the life they choose, in their own homes.
