Posted 21/01/2022

Equal Futures is recruiting volunteers in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Ayrshire, and Lanarkshire. These opportunities cover a variety of roles including Befrienders and Community Event Volunteers.

Volunteering with Equal Futures not only helps you support people with a learning disability, but it can also support you to learn new skills and become more confident.

We are currently recruiting for the following voluntary positions:

Volunteer Befrienders

Volunteer Befrienders form part of the circle of support for people with a learning disability. You will be helping them to build confidence and participate in social activities in the community.

As a befriender, you will meet the person you are supporting flexibly. You will be supported by our dedicated Project Coordinators throughout your time as a volunteer.
