The Quality and Involvement Team

The Quality and Involvement team checks the quality of support from Thera care and support companies across England and Scotland to make sure that people with a learning disability are living their lives as they choose.

We believe that every person has the right to the best support to lead their lives in the way they want.

The Quality and Involvement team quality checks support in different ways, including visits, surveys and reviews.

We employ people with lived experience of a learning disability as Experts by Experience to assess quality, including by visiting some people supported in their homes. If you would like to find out more about the Quality and Involvement team, please contact us.

The Quality Company

The Quality Company was a Thera Group company that quality checked support across England and Scotland. The Quality Company was operational between 2007 and 2024.

In 2024 The Quality Company’s staff and services were brought into Thera Trust. We now continue our peer-led quality checking through the Quality and Involvement team in Thera Trust.
