Short breaks (respite)

We have offered short breaks, also known as respite, to people with a learning disability and their families for over 15 years.

You can have a ‘home from home’ experience while becoming more independent, learning new skills and trying out new things.

If you want to take a short break, we will meet with you and your family to talk about what you need from us during your break. This includes your support needs, what your goals are and what you would you like to do during your break.

Here is a list of locations where you can take a short break with us:

Willowdene (Thera East Anglia)
