Sarah has worked with voluntary organisations supporting people with learning disabilities for over 20 years. Having completed a degree in psychology, Sarah started her career as a Support Worker and has carried out a variety of management roles in self advocacy, employment services, care information systems and service development.
More recently, Sarah was Managing Director for Thera East, before moving to her current role as Group Operations Director in January 2026.
In her role as Group Operations Director, Sarah leads on managing group resources and developing operational strategies to manage risk and improve quality through person first support.
