Kate worked as a cancer research scientist, before changing career to become a chartered accountant. She is an active member of her local accountancy group in Sheffield, organising events to support accountants working in businesses with their career development.
Kate has worked in educational and charitable organisations, giving people the opportunities to do what they want to do to succeed in life. Most recently Kate has worked in an organisation that supports adults with a learning disability, where she led the finance, IT and property portfolios.
Kate also volunteers for charitable organisations including a hospice in Sheffield and Parkinson’s UK.
In her new role as Group Executive Director – Strategic Finance and Partnerships, Kate is looking forward to working with colleagues to ensure that Thera Trust Group continues to provide excellent care, support and opportunities to people with a learning disability in a financially sustainable way.
