Having experienced first-hand how systems can exclude those who learn differently, Sakina founded HFA in 2024 to create inclusive pathways for women from underrepresented communities to gain fitness qualifications and enter meaningful employment. Social impact sits at the heart of everything she does.
Sakina holds an MSc from Alliance Manchester Business School and sits on the CIMSPA Greater Manchester Sport and Physical Activity Local Skills Accountability Board. She is deeply committed to Thera Trust’s vision of an inclusive society where people with learning disabilities can live and lead great lives, and brings to the board a practical understanding of how real choice, independence and opportunity can be built from the ground up.
She is a proud mother of four and grandmother to three.
